Emmanuel's Temple

Emmanuel means "God with us." But not only is He with us, He is living on the inside of us. Listen to this truth: Your body is Emmanuel's temple? Did you know this was in the bible? Your body is the temple of God, and your body is not your own. This question was posed decade ago by the Apostle Paul when he addressed the Corinthian's people who didn't know that their bodies were not their own; as least they didn't live like it. These people were involved in various sins, but sexual sins were very obvious then and still is today. Paul said to them, " ... Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's." (1 Corinthians' 6:17-20). Then he said it again in these words, "Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are." (1 Corinthains 3:16-17). Be extremely careful about what you do with your body. Which temple are you? Did you know you were brought with a price?
